An object reported as asteroidal by the Catalina Sky Survey, and later placed on the NEOCP designated as object 9B3FEF1, has been found cometary in appearance. T. Kryachko (Astrotel obs., KSU) and S. Korotkiy (Ka-Dar obs., Moscow) reports that the sum of five CCD images with 300 sec exposure taken with the Takahashi FRC-300 (D=300mm, F=2330mm) + CCD Apogee Alta U9000 at Kazan State University (V-band image) on Jan. 21.66UT show one faint tail in p.a. 60 deg (18″ long) and a small coma of diameter about 9″.
